Year-Round Programs

The League Camping & Therapeutic Recreation is proud to serve the continued needs of our campers and families by offering a wide variety of respite opportunities during the year.  Just like our summer programs, all year-round programming is designed to focus on what a person can do!

Weekend Respite: Camping & Therapeutic Recreation offers a variety of weekends spanning from October through April.  Each weekend runs from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, and includes enjoyable activities revolving around the weekend’s designated theme.  With an array of wonderful themes, there’s sure to be some to spark the interests of everyone!  Weekend Respite programs are available for ages 7 and up, and are staffed at a 2:1 camper to counselor ratio, with staff able to assist in every aspect of daily care.

Winter Camp: Since 2003, Camping & Therapeutic Recreation has been offering a fun-filled Winter Camp program to meet your needs during the winter break from school.  Running from December 28 – January 2, structured days provide lots of activities such as arts & crafts, sports, cooking, and more!   Winter Camp is  available for ages 7 and up, and are staffed at a 2:1 camper to counselor ratio, with staff able to assist in every aspect of daily care.

Sailing: Camping & Therapeutic Recreation has joined up with the Downtown Sailing Center in order to provide you with an accessible sailing program catered to your needs!  Learn basics of sailing from a skilled sailor, and then put those techniques into practice while you sail around Baltimore’s harbor.  No previous sailing experience is required.
