There are many ways you can show your support for The League and all forms of contributions are accepted and appreciated.
All donations, regardless of amount, make a difference in the lives of participants who are supported by The League. Making a donation to The League in honorarium or memoriam is a wonderful way to support The League while acknowledging a loved one.
Is your business interested in championing The League's mission? We have various ways your company can get involved and support The League, including sponsorship opportunities, in-kind donations, and more.

There are several tax-advantaged ways to support The League for People with Disabilities, including Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from IRAs, Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) grants, and stock gifts. These giving methods may help you reduce taxable income, receive immediate tax benefits, and enable participants at The League to live well!
Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
You may be able to make a tax-wise gift to support our mission through a QCD from your IRA. If you are age 70½ or older, you can transfer up to $108,000 (for 2025) and $111,000 (for 2026) and per year from your traditional IRA directly to The League. QCDs may count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and can reduce your taxable income.
To make a QCD gift, simply contact your IRA custodian and request a distribution made payable to The League for People with Disabilities, Tax ID: 52-0591579.
Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
You can support The League through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF). DAF contributions are tax-deductible (for taxpayers that itemize their deductions) at the time they are made, and you may recommend grants to The League for People with Disabilities at any time.
If you hold a DAF with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, or another provider, you can recommend a grant online using your provider’s portal.

Stock & Securities Transfers

When you transfer securities directly to The League, you may avoid capital gains tax and may be able to claim a charitable income-tax deduction for the fair market value of the gift if you held the asset for more than one year (if you held the asset for one year or less, the amount of the gift is based upon your tax basis in the asset).
